Why subscribe?

My background as a lifelong foreign desk stringer --for Redux Pictures and Playboy Magazine-- to name a few outlets, made the transition to blogging about marijuana an easy decision. Like many of the places I’ve lived in the Middle East and Africa, we’re at a cultural crossroads right here in New York State. The legal recreational use of marijuana signals a cultural change-of-mind over sixty years in the making. New legislation is shaping a new market that will affect who can sell and what’s available on the shelf for everyday folks.

Please send me your questions and your tips. I’m starting out in this role knowing there are thousands of you out there that know more about the use and production of marijuana than I do. I am here to find facts, examine government documents and distill the deluge of information on social media information into simple sentences. I am here to use what’s available to me for the benefit of the public.
